The Work includes furnishing materials, equipment, tools and labor necessary to provide hazardous material remediation and civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, electrical and instrumentation upgrades at the Chelsea Creek Headworks. The HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing systems were brought up to code while, the structural improvements include a new stair tower, concrete repair in the channels, a new monorail and hoist system, and foundations for the new odor control equipment including the Scrubber Tanks and Fans. Finally, the project required hazardous materials abatement, in particular PCBs, lead and asbestos.
