This ABC project was for the reconstruction of the Robert Street Railroad Bridge (Needham Line), in Roslindale, MA. While continuing to minimize disruptions to the commuter rail line, Barletta removed and replaced the bridge substructure and superstructure with a longer span structure. The new bridge was constructed alongside the existing bridge, during a weekend train service outage; removing the existing bridge and rolling the new bridge into place using a self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT).
