Work consisted of providing a comprehensive elevator modernization for three (3) obsolete elevators at Alewife station, to include removal and replacement of the elevators, systems modifications to the elevator machine rooms, and various other improvements to the mechanical, electrical, security and plumbing systems in proximity to these areas. Site work included improvements to sidewalks and roadway crosswalks in proximity to the bus dropoff/parking garage and replacement of wayfinding signage throughout the station.
