The construction of this new 1.3-acre park permitted local South Boston residents, visitors, and employees to enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views of this open space. Barletta created a bocce court, generous lawn area with plentiful cafi seating, canopied trees and perennial plantings, public restrooms, a mist fountain, community bulletin board with a weather station, and accommodating pergolas and bench seating. This park tied into the local waterfront and neighboring community for all physical abilities and ages to enjoy.
