The work of this Somerville, MA project consisted of the demolition and disposal of the existing bridge superstructure and the partial removal of the existing bridge substructure. The removal, preservation and resetting of the historic Boston Pattern bridge railing was required. As part of this project, the approaches to the bridge and a section of Gilman Street were also reconstructed.
