Work under this project includes:

• Demolition of the structurally deficient Casey Overpass.
• Construction of a temporary roadway system to carry traffic  during demolition of the Overpass and its replacement with a new street network.
• Construction of a new street grid within Forest Hills to replace the Casey Overpass and provide connectivity among the major roadways in the area including Washington Street, South Street, and the Arborway (Route 203)/Morton Street.
• Installation of new signals at all intersections within the project limits of work.
• Conversion of Shea Circle, a 1920’s era rotary into Shea Square, a modern, signalized intersection.
